Frequently Asked Questions

  • The frequency will depend on your identified goals and what fits into your life. Most people start weekly or twice monthly. We may collaboratively decide to have monthly or semi annual maintenance sessions as an off ramp to completion of the therapy or coaching process.  

    The length will also depend on what you’re seeking services for. For example TRE may be one session whereas EMDR may take two years. One of our values is that you don’t languish in therapy, so we talk through our assessment of length candidly throughout the episode of care.

  • Individual Therapy
         -Intake Session (55 minutes): $200
         -Standard Session (55 minutes): $175

    Couples Therapy
         -Intake Session - Self Pay (90 minutes): $250
         -Intake Session (55 minutes): $200
         -Standard Session (55 minutes): $175

    Couples Therapy Intensives - (8 Sessions)
         -Investment: $1,400
         -Initial Session (90 minutes): $250
         -Remaining $1,150 payable in full or with a payment plan

    Wellness Coaching
         -First Session (90 minutes): $200
         -Standard Session (55 minutes): $125

    Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE)
         -First Session (90 minutes): $180
         -Standard Session (55 minutes): $120

  • Yes and No

    Yes - We are in network with Medica/Dean Health Plan, and certain Medicaid and Medicare plans. This allows us to serve more people and make therapy accessible. We only work directly with health insurers who provide a reasonable reimbursement rate to therapists or are focused on access to care, which can limit our in network offerings. 

    No - We primarily take private pay. Third-party/managed care insurance companies can limit therapists and clients ability to make collaborative decisions in their care by dictating the type of treatment, frequency of treatment, and how long treatment lasts based on insurance companies contracts.

    If requested, we can provide you with an itemized receipt, also known as a superbill. It is at the discretion of your insurance company whether they will reimburse you for out-of-network services and not something we can guarantee.

  • If you no-show or cancel within 24 hours of our appointment time, the full fee for the session will be charged. If you cancel with more than 24 hours notice, you will not be charged. If you miss more than three sessions due to no-shows or late cancels you may be subject to discharge.
